All Spark, it's pretty much nonstop chaos around here lately, isn't it?

[And yet, someone can't help but sound amused.]

Funny, how the 'bot you all assumed was a... horrible loose cannon or whatever you were calling me, hasn't done one damn thing. Isn't it?

I mean, all I've done is run my mouth, and here, your "Defense force"? They're going around torturing bots.

Wow I bet your face plates are hot right now, huh?

[Sideswipe. Stop. Talking. You're not helping.]

[It's not unusual for the tank to look peeved. It's sort of Perceptor's general state of existence, lately. Except today, he appears a bit more irate than usual. The sudden burst of network activity, combined with disappearances, failed tests, whatever the scrap happened to Wheeljack...]

[No. He's done.]

Right then. If we're going to be busy recreating pre-war tensions left and right...

I wash my hands of this weirdness.

Entirely.

Good day, Cybertron.

[And, with that, he clicks the comm off with abrupt, angry, Space-British finality.]

[Except a note appears, later.]

[Look at this gorgeous face that's come over the link. Isn't he just friendly looking?

Especially as he holds the head of an acolyte in his hand, the being's body crumple at his feet. He turns it over a bit, studying it, before a low growl escapes him and he allows it to drop, focusing on the link as his claws curl into a fist.]

I find myself at a loss as to how I have returned to Cybertron and how the planet itself has recovered from the state it was once in.

[Not that he's complaining of course.

The growled words melt into a satisfied sound as he scoops up the comm device, turning to start for the exit of his quarters.]

Decepticons, report. I want to know everything that has taken place here on this planet. And what still needs to be done to ensure Decepticon rule

[Someone had their beauty sleep.

And by beauty sleep, we mean he looks and sounds like he's been to the Pit and back.

It'd been almost two weeks since Wheeljack fell unconscious. Two weeks too long, if you asked him. He awoke, the feeling of his head buzzing and and his optics blurry. Oh, and pain. Lots and lots of pain.  But the question was...where was he?  This place seemed familiar...

His eyes almost immediately widened, remembering everything.  Parting ways with Ratchet after the Iacon relic hunt, finding Bulkhead on that medical berth with nothing but an Energon line running through him. The fight with Hardshell, Miko saving him...being cast out from Team Prime and going solo...

The attack on Prime's base.

Being tortured at the hands of Starscream and Shockwave.  All of it was as clear as crystal. And if it wasn't, he had a few friendly reminders in the large horizontal scar across his midsection, and a somewhat buzzy neural net.  But Wheeljack wasn't one to let that stop him. As soon as he awoke, he found no one around him, probably stepping out for some fresh air.

Why not follow suit?  The Wrecker stood up, his legs feeling practically like liquid as he took a few steps, hesitating every so often.  His communicator goes on audio, the sound of a door slamming open and the loud footsteps of someone lacking...eloquence in their walk.]

...So.

What'd I miss.

[Guess who's back.]

I think we all need to readdress the issue of Tarn's position on the Committee. Especially considering his recent post on the Link.

[The video opens with Starscream, sitting and looking rather calm and hopefully not as smug as he was probably feeling.]

Old habits never die, do they?

Death, torture, conspiracies ... ideas a lot of us remember from our own universes. Many of us have been fighting and killing one another for millions of years, and it really is hard to stop, isn't it?

Hard to let go of the hate, the anger. Just forgive and forget? Too simple. We can't stop remembering -- the pain, distrust, loss, the way our conflicts have ripped planets apart. We may cease for a little while, but then it starts right back up again ... like an endless cycle.

You've already seen the speech from Megatron, and was inpsiring, wasn't it? I'll never deny that Megatron was a great speaker, it's why a lot of us originally joined him -- a version of him, anyway. I remember the rallies and crowds drawn to hear them.

But I also remember the planet being ripped apart by our endless bloodshed.

Are we going to destroy this planet too?

We need to band together and work towards a new future -- for all of us. But for a unified government, we need a leader, elected not through false promises or force but because it's what we all want.

I will officially make this my statement of running for Overseer. This election will be open to everyone to be involved. As I know some of your feelings towards who or what I am, I welcome anyone else to run as well, just as long you do not insist on destroying this planet from the inside.

That's all I ask.

[Look Megatron, he can do speeches too. He learned well.]
