[Early morning today, should you be sleeping you might have something of an awkward awakening as a small earthquake strikes. It doesn't do more than knock over smaller items, send hanging lights swinging, or crack a few stationary glass displays - but the closer to Solus' territory you are, the stronger it noticeably gets. Within the center of her zone, you will probably get swept off your feet if you are anything less than ten feet tall.
The Crystal Forest growing in the western area sings as the 'branches' grate against one another, but surprisingly few break. In the distant edge of Haven, a mountain starts to smoke.
Then it is over, less than a minute after it began.
Not two minutes after that, every single communicator tunes in to the coming broadcast, interrupting ongoing conversations if it must; rather like a emergency alert, if it was capable of turning your TV on to send it out.]If you are an organic within my territory yet outside the protection of my passage system, I highly suggest you leave the area or return to the temple or insulated tunnels immediately.
You have approximately...six hours before the majority of my area becomes too hot to support organic life. The rest of you might find it rather uncomfortable, especially near any vents or crevasses that may have opened up.
...Do not fall in one.[So very dry. There is a brief pause as Solus checks the readings on several glowing instruments, before waving a hand dismissively.]...That is all. Everything else has stabilized.
The outermost edges of my zone will be warmer than usual, but they should fall within a tolerable range; everything should drop back down to normal within a week. Do not mind the aftershocks. Those are normal and will pass within a day or so. Should you notice any damage to the structural integrity of my temple - doubtful - or anything else built within the area, contact my Acolytes and they will repair it.[And then the broadcast cuts out, returning your communicators to their regularly scheduled programming.]~ ( Locked to the First Forged )

[Finding out about an earthquake in the quadrant where the majority of your team was located really didn't sit well with Smokescreen.
Thus the reason for him heading over from Alpha Trion's quadrant, attempting to hail them all on his way.]
Guys, are you alright? I heard something about and Earthquake and how the quadrant isn't safe for organics--
Are Miko and Raf okay?
[Yeah he was maybe sort of really worried.]
I'm on my way to you guys but please check in.

[the fact that this is an 'accidental' video comes through, quickly - the camera is bouncing around, though somewhat repetitively. what's visible though is Raf's upper body, and he seems to be grabbing on to something metal (though not without a pair of gloves).
he's also laughing. the kid's breathlessly exhilarated, the type of laughing you get when you're on a roller coaster that may have seemed a bit scary at first but you've come to love. why would it be scary, you ask?
another jostle of the camera shows more of the metal he's grabbing on to - it's heavily segmented, intricate, and aside from what's immediately near him, all of it seems to be /moving/ to the point where if a hand or foot slipped, it could...end badly. very, very quickly. but Raf doesn't seem worried at all. another jostle, and a bit more becomes clear, to where it looks like he's riding a giant, mechanical worm...
yes, ladies and gentlemen.
Raf is riding the Driller.
the camera, unfortunately, isn't giving a clear enough view to show where exactly they are, but at least he seems to be having the time of his life?]
